About Assam HSLC Examination

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) was set up in September 2024 after the government merged SEBA and AHSEC into one body under the New Education Policy. SEBA, which previously conducted the HSLC exam on its own, now operates as ASSEB Division-I. The HSLC is the Class 10 board exam taken by students in government and private schools across Assam.

The Assam HSLC Result 2026 is declared on 10th April 2026 at 10:30 AM. The exams ran from 10th to 27th February this year. A total of 4,38,565 students wrote them at 1,046 centres across the state.

How to Check Assam HSLC Result 2026?

Navigate to the Assam HSLC Result 2026 page.
Select your prefix (B26) from the dropdown menu.
Enter your 4-digit Roll Code and 4-digit Roll Number as printed on your admit card.
Click on the Submit button to view your marksheet.
Your marksheet will be displayed immediately after submission.
You can download or share your marksheet using the options provided on the result page.

Assam HSLC Result Recheck

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for rechecking of answer scripts. The application window usually opens 2 days after the result is declared. Rechecking covers marking errors and totalling mistakes only — re-evaluation of answers is not part of this process. For more details, visit the Assam HSLC Answer Script Rechecking page.

Assam HSLC Pass Percentage

The Assam HSLC pass rate swung between 56% and 93% in recent years. The 2021 figure (93.10%) was unusually high because exams were shortened due to COVID. When full-length papers returned in 2022, it dropped to 56.49%.
